Our lifeline during a long bike ride: we were warmly welcomed and looked after very nicely! Unfortunately we only had time for a cappuccino and an apple strudel with vanilla ice cream: wonderful! Lauenburg seems worth a trip to us and we'll come back here on our next visit because the menu still had tempting options; But above all, it's the warmth of the people that attracts you - and (admittedly) the view of the Elbe!

Old school restaurant from the 60s. Directly on the Elbe with a view across it as if from a castle. Insider tip for nostalgics. I drank a Pharisee there and sat right at the counter. Felt like in the days of my youth, when Lütt and Lütt was still normal. Food German and good, vegan and veggie...forget it. The landlord and landlady intentionally leave the interior original. Everything stays as it is. Basta. Go in there, eat and drink...let the time travel begin. Ahoy!

The food tasted really great, everyone was thrilled with their dish. The portions are generous. The service was very friendly, attentive, accommodating and we had a lovely time in the boathouse. The location of the restaurant is wonderful, right on the Elbe, so the view while eating is beautiful. Overall, a Lauenburg gem.

Here, right on the Elbe, you can relax and unwind - personally, I think it's really great here, regardless of the weather.At the western end of the old town you can feast and enjoy, observe animals and nature, "fill up" with the sun and/or oxygen - try it out and have fun.You can stretch your legs or go hiking on the banks of the Elbe to discover nature, often still unspoiled.
